If you happen to be at the corner of Hwy. 92 and Cedarcrest Road in Dallas, you can’t help but notice a neat little shop in the Kroger plaza called Buck’s Barber Shop.  When you step inside you immediately feel like you’ve been welcomed home and feel as though you’ve been transported to a cozy hunting lodge complete with deer heads mounted on the wall and abundant with cowboy boots ~ somewhere in the mountains.  The owner, Amber Greaves, greets you with her usual million dollar smile and southern “Hey, how are ya” AND she means it!  Amber has been in the barber business for some 16 years but she just moved her shop to the Dallas/Acworth ~Cedarcrest~92 area in May of this year.  The community has truly welcomed Amber to this area and her clients are finding her cut above service incredible.  Each customer not only gets a good quality haircut but a warm lather neck shave free with their haircut. Amber has just premiered her new product Buck’s Beard Butter which she swears is an amazing product that every man in the area needs to try.  Amber is excellent and welcomes women for haircuts and best of all she loves for Little Bucks to come in for their haircuts!  Amber and her husband, Richard ~ who is a policeman, are a big part of the Dallas/Acworth community through school activities and church.  They enjoy riding their horses and keeping up with the kiddos and all of their activities.  In her downtime Amber loves to roller skate and speed skate but most all of Amber loves to shop!  Buck’s Barber Shop is open M~F from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Saturday 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.  It is located at 8876 Dallas Acworth Hwy, Suite 110, Dallas, GA 30172 ~ 770.966.0504.
